The CCPMM and the Pioneer Farm and Ranch Museum sponsored a fun day “Break New Ground”. The event was on Saturday, April 3, 2015. The displays in the PFRM were opened to the public for the first time, Texas Lead and Lace Historical Re-enactors presented “live history”, vendors sold food, as the crowd awaited the main event: the arrival of the Easter Bunny. Children divided into two age groups to hunt for the 1,000 eggs hidden(with a little help to the bunny) by the museum. The day ended with a re-enactment by Lead and Lace.
