Pioneer Farm and Ranch Museum: The newest addition to our Museum Row sits less than a block south of Highway 82. It is still under construction and not open to the public except for special occasions. April 4, 2015 is one of those occasions. On Saturday, April 4, 2015 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. the museum will host a special event, “Breaking New Ground”. The event will take place on the east and west sides of Aspen Street, connecting the downtown area to the PFRM. The South Plains Antique Tractor Association will begin the day at 10:00 a.m. with a parade of antique tractors on Aspen. The tractors will park in the PFRM lot. There will be games throughout the day at both the Pioneer Farm & Ranch Museum and the Crosby County Pioneer Memorial Museum. The historic reenactment group, Lone Star Lead and Lace, will present five shows and a gunfighter challenge on the grounds of the CCPMM. Graze in the park at lunch where vendors will be stationed. An egg hunt for children up to ten years will take place on the old West Texas Gin Lot. Don’t miss the chance to shop the Crosbyton as you take in the fun. Join in as we break new ground with Crosbyton’s third museum.
