The Community Technology and Economic Development Center was established by partnering with South Plains College and Texas Workforce Solutions of the South Plains. This center also offers a variety of educational opportunities and previous instruction has included GED classes, youth leadership and youth entrepreneurship training. The center current houses the Christian Women’s Job Corps of Crosby County.
The Christian Women’s Job Corps® (CWJC) of Crosby County is a ministry that changes lives of women spiritually, emotionally, physically, economically, and socially. In other words, it ministers to the whole person. Christian Women’s Job Corps® seeks to provide a Christian environment in which women in need are equipped and encouraged for new life in Jesus, and where they gain job skills for employment in order to enhance their lives and the lives of their families.
Upon graduation from CWJC training, participants are encouraged to give back by investing their time into the new participants of the CWJC training program as mentors, instructors, or program volunteers. We appreciate the time and effort you put into this organization by our board members: Freda Hitt, Secretary; Cyndi Vasquez; Susie Justus, Treasurer; Margot Hardin, President; Tommy Murillo, Vice President.
CWJC of Crosby County is offering the opportunity for you to invest financially in the lives of women who desire to obtain the life skills and job training required for employment, self-sufficiency, and financial independence. For more information http://www.cwjccrosbycounty.org
